It’s been a really complicated first day of work at Phillip Island and the first free practice session in the main category has been postponed once again.
FP1 was supposed to start at 0:45 am, Portuguese time, but the heavy rain that was felt once again postponed the start of the action.
Initially the rain started to calm down and there was some action in the teams’ garage and finally we could hear the engines running, but with the Safety Car back on the track to check the condition of the track the rain intensified again.
It is to be expected that the schedule will be duly changed, as heavy rain is forecast in the first two hours, and the organization may even be discussing a change in plans for the weekend, not just for today but even tomorrow.
