Marc Márquez achieved the sixth best time in the MotoGP tests that took place in Sepang this week. The Gresini rider started with a first day marked by technical problems, but made gradual progress until the end.
Still adapting to the Ducati, the Spanish rider believes that the path is long and he still does not feel natural or intuitive in riding the Desmosedici GP.
Nevertheless, Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) believes that Márquez could contend for victory already in the first GP: ‘He is where I expected him to be. He will be very close and maybe fighting for the win in Qatar’.
