Trackhouse Racing is preparing to head to Japan for the GP in that country, with Motegi hosting the 16th round of MotoGP. Trackhouse Racing is preparing to bring news, as it will have Lorenzo Savadori replacing Miguel Oliveira, who was injured in Mandalika.
On Friday, after the worst-case scenario for Oliveira was confirmed, with the Portuguese suffering multiple fractures in his right wrist and hand and having to undergo surgery – today – Davide Brivio immediately realized that the team would try to have the Aprilia test rider on the track in place of the #88.
And yesterday, in a statement, Justin Marks’ American structure informed about Oliveira’s absence, with news about his condition being transmitted as soon as possible, as well as confirming that the Italian will indeed be on the track: ‘#88 Miguel Oliveira will not be able to attend – further news on his condition will be published as soon as available – and he will be replaced by long-time Aprilia Factory test rider, Lorenzo Savadori, who will carry his #32 on the Trackhouse RS-GP24’.
This will be the third time that Savadori is on the track this year, after having been present at the Spanish GP, and then at the Italian GP.
