About a year later, Stefano Manzi returned to winning in the World Supersport Championship. The Pata Yamaha Ten Kate rider won the second race at Cremona this Sunday.
Adrián Huertas (Aruba.it Ducati) started from pole position, but after the first lap, Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team/Ducati) was leading. In the early laps, the battle for the top positions involved Huertas, Montella, Manzi, and also Can Öncü (Kawasaki Puccetti). However, the Turkish rider quickly lost contact.
Montella returned to the lead on lap seven, but on lap ten, he crashed while in front, allowing Manzi to take over.
