Enea Bastianini was the fastest in the MotoGP Emilia Romagna Grand Prix warm-up session. The session served as final preparations ahead of the main race this afternoon in Misano.
Several riders had their initial flying laps canceled, with Bastianini (Ducati) and Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) leading halfway through the session. Once all valid times were set, Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GasGas Tech3/KTM) topped the charts, 0.433s ahead of Raúl Fernández (Trackhouse Racing/Aprilia).
Then, Bastianini reclaimed the lead, with Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha) moving to second. However, Acosta improved with two minutes left, slotting between the two.
At the end, Bastianini secured the fastest time. Franco Morbidelli (Prima Pramac/Ducati) finished second, 0.257s behind, with Quartararo, Acosta, and Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM) rounding out the top five.
Marc Márquez (Gresini/Ducati) took sixth, followed by Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) and Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), the winner of yesterday’s Sprint race.
