Jorge Martín will start second in the races of the Emilia-Romagna MotoGP. In this morning’s qualifying at Misano, the Prima Pramac rider was just 0.214s shy of beating Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) for pole position.
Speaking to the official site’s broadcast, the Spaniard said: ‘I’m in a good shape. After the test, my main goal was to improve the time attack, and I did it. So I’m really happy about this’.
Now, Martín expects a close Sprint race with Bagnaia, promising to give his all to secure at least a top-three result:
– In terms of pace, I think Pecco and I are so, so close, so it will be a really tough race. But I will try to do my best, trying to make it to the podium, and doing my best performance.
