And behold, we finally “entered” the first three places in Honda Customs, with the CL Surfer from Germany, with the Honda Center in Frankfurt, the Japanese brand’s flagship dealership in Germany, achieving a notable third place in this year’s prestigious competition with its unique creation.
This custom motorcycle caught the attention of the jury and the public by evoking the laid-back atmosphere and surfing spirit of the beautiful beaches of Biarritz, a French city known for hosting the famous Wheels and Waves festival.
The Honda Center team (@hondamotorrad_de) demonstrated remarkable creativity in transforming a standard Honda into a work of art on two wheels. The CL Surfer stands out for its metallic silver fuel tank, adorned with a distinctive blue stripe that also extends across the front and rear fenders.
The details that give the bike its unique character don’t stop there. The CL Surfer has been equipped with clip-on handlebars, which not only change its appearance but also its ergonomics, providing a sportier riding position. A new exhaust system was installed, presumably to improve both the performance and the sound of the bike.
The final touch, and perhaps the most eye-catching, is the seat. Opting for a brown leather seat, the customizers were able to create a look reminiscent of vintage surfboards, in perfect harmony with the overall theme of the bike.
