Nicolas Goyon was full of praise for Pedro Acosta’s extraordinary performance in the Moto2 Aragon Grand Prix this weekend.
The team’s Team Manager was very happy with how things turned out: ‘An unforgettable weekend with a podium double by Pedro Acosta and the best GP of the season with a front row grid position as well. We are super-happy to be back where we want to be, and it comes from the decision to go back to an older bike setting and it worked well’.
Goyon was full of praise for the rider and said he did well in managing one of the biggest “details” of the weekend: ‘Pedro rode at a good pace and managed the tire well’.
As for the team’s other driver, Augusto Fernández, Goyon commented: ‘Augusto ended up in the points once again and he enjoyed the weekend. Clearly now the focus has to turn to the qualifying if he wants to be where he deserves to be’.
GASGAS Tech3 leaves Aragon with renewed confidence, hoping to maintain the positive momentum in the next stages of the MotoGP championship.
