NEXX, the renowned Portuguese helmet manufacturer, has launched one of its most successful products, the X.WED3 Zero Pro. This adventure helmet, described by the company as ‘the wildest in the world’, promises to revolutionize the market with its unique combination of innovation, safety and versatility.
Developed under the motto ‘no compromises’, the X.WED3 Zero Pro is the result of an extensive testing and refinement process. More than 60 adventure riders covered nearly 200,000 kilometers in some of the most challenging regions on the planet, from Alaska to the Merzouga desert in Morocco, to ensure that every detail of the helmet was meticulously refined.
One of the most notable features of the X.WED3 is its versatility. The helmet offers a perfect transition between off-road and on-road use, without the need for tools. In addition, it accommodates the use of off-road goggles in dusty or muddy environments, making it ideal for the most demanding adventurers.
Safety was a priority in the development of the X.WED3. NEXX has introduced the innovative “X-Foam Crash Bumpers”, shock absorbers made from ultra-light EPP foam, designed to absorb some of the impact energy and reduce the risk of chest injuries and collarbone fractures, common in off-road accidents.
The helmet is available in two versions: an X-PRO carbon fiber shell, which combines aerospace technology with 3K carbon mesh, and an X-Matrix 2 multi-composite fiber shell. Both versions promise to offer superior lightness, resistance and comfort.
Ventilation has also received special attention, with a complex system of seven adjustable air inlets and four exhaust outlets. NEXX has also introduced the “Mid Airflow Chamber”, a patented system that significantly improves air circulation inside the helmet.
The X.WED3 Zero Pro also incorporates the Recoil visor system, which guarantees an airtight seal, and includes a Pinlock visor for greater safety and visual comfort.
