As we reported yesterday, the World Ducati Week broke all attendance records, and the Italian manufacturer’s executives couldn’t be happier. Claudio Domenicali was the face of that happiness, which brought thousands of people to Misano.
The CEO of Ducati was radiant with the success of the latest World Ducati Week, an event that is very special to him: ‘The World Ducati Week is the event that, better than anything else, embodies our brand’s mission to offer memorable experiences to our enthusiasts, created around special motorcycles, which are a magical combination of technology and beauty in pure Italian sporting style’.
He then pointed to the numbers, which were absolutely staggering, and how they personify the deep feelings that currently exist for the Italian brand: ‘The numbers for this edition are extraordinary and are proof that the love for Ducati in the world has never been stronger. I want to thank every participant, but also the entire team made up mainly of Ducati employees who, as usual, worked hard to make this incredible experience possible’.
The executive believes that this was a spectacle of the highest level, and that Saturday’s race was the highlight, with enormous exposure for the manufacturer’s new motorcycle:
– Thanks also to all of Ducati Corse and in particular to the riders, the heroes of WDW, who made themselves available to the fans and gave us a show that is unique in the world, the Lenovo Race of Champions. The performance achieved by the new Panigale V4 is truly incredible: the fastest lap in qualifying was only 3.2 seconds away from the MotoGP track record, which belongs to Francesco Bagnaia with 1:31.8s. Equally incredible is the determination with which Pecco once again proved to be the best, in a race where everyone had exactly the same bike.
