Fabio Wibmer, a well-known trial and downhill cyclist, recently swapped his bicycle for a MotoGP bike – the KTM RC16, which he rode at the Red Bull Ring with support from Dani Pedrosa.
Wibmer, also a popular YouTuber with millions of followers, shows mastery on any descent, regardless of the setting, constantly seeking new thrills and challenges. Taking on a MotoGP bike was his latest adventure.
To start, Wibmer rode a MiniGP bike at the Red Bull Ring Driving Center with guidance from Pedrosa and Gustl Auinger. He then experienced a Moto2 bike on the Red Bull Ring before finally moving on to the MotoGP bike.
A confessed fan of the premier class, Wibmer spoke about his experience: ‘The power is just crazy. Very few people get the chance to ride a machine like this. The grip is insane. The most fascinating aspect is the way you can lean into the corners and discover what angles are possible. It’s an absolute dream come true!’.
