Trackhouse Racing has been performing well at the MotoGP German GP. They placed both riders at the front of the starting grid, and in the Sprint race, Miguel Oliveira achieved second place – the team’s first top-three finish.
Team principal Davide Brivio told the official broadcast during warm-up that it has been a satisfactory round at Sachsenring, with immediate competitiveness since Friday:
– It has been great since Friday, honestly. We’ve been always on the top, competitive, and Miguel found himself immediatly competitive here. And also Raúl [Fernández]; we missed a bit the Q2 on Friday, but yesterday on qualifying he was impressive – the same as Miguel, of course.
The Italian spoke about each rider individually: ‘Miguel was quite confident before the race. He said that if he could have a good start, he could keep the pace, which happened. We had some problems with Raúl, I think he could be in the group, but then there was some issue with the front tyre. It’s something that I hope we can recover this afternoon, and try to be there with both of them’.
