Fermín Aldeguer was the fastest and managed to secure first place on the grid for the Dutch GP, in Moto2. Alongside him will be Ai Ogura and Sergio García.
After Albert Arenas, Zonta VD Goorbergh, Senna Agius and Izan Guevara have secured the Q2, it was time for the real session before racing.
The fastest first lap went to Alonso López, with 1:35.910s, with the yellow flag being raised four minutes into the session following the crash of Izan Guevara at turn 8.
Sergio García took the lead and, a couple of laps later, it was Somkiat Chantra’s turn to crash, at turn 10.
López was second and Ai Ogura third, thus provisionally completing the front row of the grid, but it was Fermín Aldeguer who ascended to second place soon after, with Albert Arenas in third for a moment, before Ogura returned to the “podium” places.
The usual pit stop followed and, a couple of minutes after entering the track, there was a new leader: Aldeguer with a lap time of 1:35.590s was ahead, with a 0.033s advantage over García and 0.179s behind Ogura.
The Spaniard, who will be in MotoGP in 2025, improved his lap again and secured pole position, with Ogura in second and García in third.
