Boscoscuro had a strong start in the Moto2 Dutch GP, placing their four bikes in the top five. Ai Ogura was the fastest, though he didn’t break his own record from last year.
After the initial flying laps, Manuel González (QJMotor Gresini/Jalex) was in the lead, then surpassed by Bo Bendsneyder (Preicanos Racing Team/Kalex) and Joe Roberts (OnlyFans American Racing Team/Kalex). The American, who is leading the championship, was overtaken by Fermín Aldeguer (Folladore SpeedUp/Boscoscuro) before regaining the top spot.
With two consecutive fast laps, Roberts led for just under two minutes. He later had an inconsequential crash and narrowly avoided another. Nine minutes in, Ogura (MT Helmets-MSi/Boscoscuro) took the lead.
Ogura wasn’t beaten until the end, improving his time twice. His teammate Sergio García was closest, just 0.078s behind. In a very tight session where the top four were within less than a tenth of a second, Arón Canet (Fantic Racing/Kalex) and Alonso López (Folladore SpeedUp/Boscoscuro) followed, with Aldeguer in fifth. Roberts ended with the ninth fastest time, 0.565s off the top.
