Franco Morbidelli caused concern on the second day of testing in Portimão. Several MotoGP riders joined the Superbike World Championship to train on road bikes before the pre-season tests in Sepang next week.
According to GPOne.com, the incident involving the Pramac rider occurred around 2:30 PM (local time) at turn nine. Morbidelli lost control of the Ducati Panigale V4 S after leaning.
The Márquez brothers, Álex and Marc, assisted their rival, who was taken to the medical center for examination. Fortunately, he did not suffer any injuries that would cause concern, despite the initial scare.
