Sepang is the next challenge for Francesco Bagnaia on the path to renewing the MotoGP title. The championship leader arrives at the Malaysian GP with a 13-point advantage over Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) with only three rounds left in the season.
The Italian Ducati rider showed confidence for the upcoming weekend, considering the progress made in Thailand and the good feelings he usually has in Sepang:
– I am excited to return to Sepang! It is one of my favorite tracks, where I have achieved important results in the past. In the last Thailand GP, especially in Sunday’s race, we were able to find the right speed and feeling to be competitive. I am confident that we will be able to find them again immediately here. It will be crucial to be strong in qualifying again to start at the front in the race. The weather will be unpredictable as always, but it doesn’t worry me.
