Miguel Oliveira finished the MotoGP Portuguese Grand Prix in ninth place. It was the first time he managed to finish in the top ten since sixth place at the San Marino GP last year.
The Trackhouse Racing Portuguese felt after qualifying that a top ten result – like the one he achieved – would be ‘ideal’. And, although he believes he could have gone further, he was pleased:
– There were two possible outcomes: without crashes it was ninth place, with the crashes it was still ninth, but without that incident in the first corner I would have finished in sixth place. So, let’s say it’s not entirely a negative result.
