Maverick Viñales has been one of the most competitive riders during this weekend at Sachsenring but today he suffered a huge crash that left him injured. The Aprilia pilot had to be examined at the circuit’s medical center, where he received clearance to race.
Everything happened during Q2, in the last minutes, with the Spanish rider falling dramatically at turn 10, and where he couldn’t hide his discomfort while trying to get up. His RS-GP also suffered some damage.
The Sprint starts in approximately 25 minutes.
