Yet another pilot is pointed out as a possibility for the open spot at Repsol Honda. After Fabio Di Giannantonio, Maverick Viñales and Miguel Oliveira, now the name of Luca Marini is being pointed out to the Japanese manufacturer.
According to Sky Sport, the pilot from Mooney VR46 Racing Team met with Honda’s team director, Alberto Puig. However, a transfer is unlikely to happen – especially since Marini has already renewed with his current team.
Di Giannantonio is currently seen as the main candidate to succeed Marc Márquez. However, the current Gresini pilot has not yet been contacted to sign a contract with Honda, which is still in the process of analysis and decision.
