Marc Márquez has not had an easy life in MotoGP since he became champion in 2019. In the following year, he suffered a serious injury in the very first Grand Prix, which marked the beginning of a period marked by some injuries and physical problems.
Totally recovered for 2023, he had to deal with the decreasing competitiveness of the Honda RC213V. So much so that, without any victories throughout the year, he ended up deciding to terminate the contract one year before its end and move to the Gresini/Ducati satellite team.
In a video marking the farewell to 2023 and the entrance into the new year, Márquez expressed his wishes for 2024 on the MotoGP website: ‘In races, not having injuries, and in personal life, simply being healthy‘.
