Alex Lowes will begin his fifth season with Kawasaki in the World Superbike Championship this year. After four years “in the shadow” of six-time champion Jonathan Rea, he is now the most experienced rider on the team with the arrival of Axel Bassani.
For this reason, the British rider admitted that it will be a season with some differences compared to usual, also due to having new additions to the technical group that accompanies him. In any case, Lowes assured that he faces the season with enthusiasm:
– The year 2024 will be the same, but different for me within KRT. We have a new teammate, Axel Bassani, whom I am eager to work with. I am also changing some garage team and will be working with Pere Riba this year. I am feeling good and truly excited about this new season.
