Yesterday, some rumors emerged that Pramac Racing could lose its current “status” as the most competent satellite team of Ducati, being the only one with two Desmosedici bikes identical to the factory team, as it had not yet renewed the contract. Now Gino Borsoi has assured that practically ‘everything is already signed’, ensuring that the team will continue to have these two factory bikes and that the ‘world would have to fall’ for that situation to change.
The Team Manager of the team of Jorge Martín and Franco Morbidelli spoke about these news that emerged in the last 24 hours, in statements to GPOne, quoted in Crash.net, expressing his happiness with the connection between the team and the factory saying: ‘Rumors in the paddock exist, and will always exist, so it is better to trust the contracts. We have an option with Ducati in our favor for the next two years and we are very satisfied with them’.
For the Italian, the agreement between the two parties is practically resolved and only a major event would prevent the continuation, as it is, of the agreement: ‘Practically everything is already signed. We can put an end to these stories. The world would have to fall to change’.
Borsoi ensured that the contract with the manufacturer from Borgo Panigale includes the most updated versions of the Desmosedici: ‘The contract with Ducati for the next two years also includes two official bikes’.
