Francesco Bagnaia was the great dominator of the MotoGP tests, leading both in Sepang and Losail, with laps below the official records of both circuits. More than enough reasons for the Ducati rider to start the approaching season encouraged.
After the end of pre-season, the two-time champion was asked if this is the year he starts the season with more confidence. And the Italian replied: ‘For me, yes – I also felt great last year because in Portimão the GP23 worked perfectly, it was very smooth. But I think so’.
Asked if he has already improved the throttle response, Bagnaia confirmed: ‘We have improved and at the moment it is very smooth. We have to be more precise compared to previous years, but when you understand it, it’s better’.
