The MotoGP season did not start in the best possible way for Fabio Quartararo. Despite finishing 11th in the Qatar GP, the rider continues to show himself far from the fight for the top positions, as well as Monster Energy Yamaha.
The 2021 champion now faces the Portuguese GP, highlighting that the scenario is different: ‘The Qatar GP was not an easy start to the season, but now we know what to work on. The Portimão track is very different from the Losail circuit, so it will be interesting to see how the bike handles and how tire wear compares‘.
Quartararo then outlined his goals: ‘With no points in the Sprint race in Qatar, we are in the middle of the standings, so we will do our best to climb this weekend. As always, I will give 100 percent of myself and I know the team will too, so let’s see what we can achieve!‘.
