Pedro Acosta already has his future in MotoGP confirmed. After making his debut this year with Red Bull GasGas Tech3, he will be promoted to Red Bull KTM, thus joining the factory team of the Austrian manufacturer.
As is known, KTM has many synergies with its satellite team and strong support, increasingly becoming a kind of second factory team – in which the rider has even been able to achieve better results than Brad Binder and Jack Miller.
Nevertheless, the status changes for all intents and purposes, and Acosta does not hide that it is another dream come true – even acknowledging in an interview with Dominika Grnova that nothing changes except for the colors:
– Another dream has come true, being a factory rider for KTM. It is true that not much will change, because I am already a factory rider with them – the only thing is that I am wearing a red t-shirt, but in the end it is the same. For this reason, I am very happy to be part of this family for two more seasons.
