Daniel Holgado was the fastest in the opening day at Silverstone, with the best time in Moto3 P2, in a session where the times, compared to yesterday’s, were not improved.
The clouds were hovering over Silverstone but it was not raining, at least for now, with the first session of the day about to hit the track.
With the weather not being the most pleasant, the riders appeared reserved on the track and without setting a high pace, with the first twenty minutes being very calm.
Followed by a (long) stop in the respective teams’ garage, in general terms, by practically all the riders. They lined up at the controls of their bikes, ready to leave the garage but no one seemed to want to be the first to go out on the track, something that with three minutes left to run actually started to happen, with some riders even leaving later.
In the end, the session ended without anyone practically improving their records, with Holgado finishing in the lead with a lap time of 2:09.586s, a time below the best achieved yesterday by Veijer in 2:09.565s.
