Nine laps from the end, Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha) retired from the race with a crash at turn six, as he was preparing to overtake Bagnaia and take fifth place.
Leadership change on the seventh lap, with Binder overtaking Viñales… who would also be overtaken by Martín and Márquez. On the eighth lap, Martín overtook Binder to take the lead. Bagnaia was in fifth place.
Until the end, nothing else changed in the top positions. Binder tried his best, but couldn’t surpass Martín, and the Spaniard won with a 0.190s lead over the South African. Márquez finished third, with Viñales in fourth and Bagnaia in fifth. These results give the Italian a 14-point lead before the last race of the season.
