Enea Bastianini was one of the riders who ended the season on the rise after a troubled start that forced him to be out of competition for many months. However, Carlo Pernat guarantees that the motivation of the Italian is at a very high level.
The manager of the Ducati factory rider said, quoted by MotoSprint, that ‘Bestia’ had a season full of bad luck, and guaranteed that in 2024 he will be in the fight for the title… and with extra motivation: ‘Bastianini will be in the game to compete for the world championship, this year he had a lot of bad luck. Now he has an incredible anger inside him, this new bike that we tested in Valencia will help him a lot, it is also more suitable for his riding style’.
Pernat has no doubts that the rider will not only be in the fight for the world championship, but will also be one of the favorites: ‘I expect an Enea in the fight for the final victory, where there will be many other names, but he is one of the favorites to compete for the championship’.
Bastianini finished 2023 in 15th position with 84 points despite missing eight rounds.
