Pedro Acosta continues to impress in MotoGP in his debut season. Even in a less good phase in terms of results, the rookie continues to receive praise from various figures in the paddock.
Andrea Dovizioso also made a point of recognizing the talent of the Red Bull GasGas Tech3 rookie. In statements to the championship’s official website, the former rider highlighted that Acosta is not just another fast rider:
– Incredible, crazy! What he is doing is something very, very special. It’s not just about being another fast rider. I think his way of braking, his position on the bike, is something very, very unique. And surely he will be a champion in the future, even in MotoGP. I really like him. He is very special in his riding, but I like his mentality.
After seven rounds, Acosta is in fifth place in the championship, being the best of the KTM riders. In the Italian GP, he returned to top results, with a third place in the Sprint race and fifth in the main race.
