Miguel Oliveira had another complicated Sprint race at the Malaysian MotoGP. After starting in 19th position on the grid, the Portuguese rider was always in the last places, but still managed to recover and finish in 18th.
The CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team rider highlighted that there were many aspects that made things difficult, but also acknowledged that he didn’t have high expectations and even took the opportunity to try out some aspects for the main race:
– From where we started, we knew it was going to be a bit difficult. But anyway, we intended to simply set a pace and try out some things for tomorrow. I couldn’t accelerate coming out of the slow corners to set up an overtaking maneuver. It was difficult to stop the bike. Behind other riders, there’s nothing specific we can do better. It becomes increasingly difficult over the laps when you use up the grip. I expect a tough race tomorrow, but either way, we’ll give our best from start to finish and see what we can achieve.
