Francesco Bagnaia could crown himself on the Cheste circuit in the Valencia Community Grand Prix, the last race of this MotoGP world championship season. The Spanish rider has extended his advantage over Jorge Martín, now having a cushion of 21 points with 37 at stake. Is everything closed regarding the champion in the premier class of speed?
‘The championship has become complicated for Jorge Martín after the race in Losail, but it is not impossible. Many things can happen in the race. The title is still possible, although Martín arrives in Valencia in a different position than he would like. I believe we will have a very intense race, in which the championship could be decided in the last race of the season, and for the audience, it will be the best thing that could happen,’ anticipates Álex Crivillé to Marca.
The former rider also emphasizes that whoever has a cooler head will have a slight advantage.
‘The mindset before and during the race will be crucial. Each of the two will have to adapt their own strategy and give everything in a race that promises to be full of great emotions,’ concluded the former 500cc champion.
