Tim Gajser won yesterday the second race of the MXGP in Patagonia, Argentina. However, it was not enough to prevent Jorge Prado from winning the opening round of the MXGP motocross World Championship.
The Slovenian from Team HRC, who had won the qualifying race the day before, took the lead of the second main race right in the first lap and never let go. Throughout the 18 laps, Prado (Red Bull GasGas) was always Gajser’s main pursuer, who ended up winning with a 10.489s lead.
In third place was Romain Febvre (Kawasaki), who reached the position he finished in right in the second lap with the overtaking of the fourth-placed, Pauls Jonass (Standing Construct Honda). The top five was closed by Jeremy Seewer (Kawasaki), who rode in that position from the start.
