Ruben Xaus is part of the Dura La Vita podcast and, in statements during the same, spoke about Marc Márquez’s performance in the last races, notably in the French GP where he achieved an excellent second place when starting from the 13th position on the grid.
– Marc, Marc and Marc. He once again put the cherry on top of the cake, and is in absolutely all the bets. I think Márquez’s overtaking, in addition to the security of having stayed behind Bagnaia for 24 laps, comes from Pecco’s doubt, because he didn’t know where to overtake Martín. And in MotoGP, if you have doubts, these things happen.
He also added about the possibility of Marc interfering in the fight for the MotoGP title: ‘I think Márquez is coming to destabilize these two riders (Martín and Pecco), who with a GP23 are there every day, and will be more and more. There is always new material coming in and, little by little, he is leveling things out.’
