Pedro Acosta makes his debut in MotoGP in 2024 and, for now, does not talk about objectives in terms of results. Despite having almost immediate success in both Moto3 and Moto2, the GasGas Tech3 rider is aware that he has a great challenge ahead of him.
In an interview with Agencia EFE, the Spanish rookie emphasized that he will have to take his time to learn the premier category, after the lesson he learned from his debut year in Moto2:
– I only have one day on the bike. We will try to stay calm and take time to learn, which I think is what prevented me from having better results in my first year in Moto2. I will take it easy and first I will learn the basics. When we have that, we will be competitive. No matter how competitive I am, if I fall 20 times, I will lose a lot of time on the track. I think that will be helpful in MotoGP.
