Ducati has revealed more details about its motocross sports project, which will start next year. For this purpose, Ducati Corse Off-Road has been created, which will be led by Paolo Ciabatti.
The former sports director of Ducati Corse will be the general director of Ducati Corse Off-Road, reporting directly to the manufacturer’s CEO, Claudio Domenicali. He will also continue to coordinate programs in the main national Superbike and Supersport championships.
The new division of Ducati is intended to organize and manage the sports program in motocross – which, in the coming years, will reach the MXGP World Championship and AMA Supercross. For 2024, the activities will be in national competitions, during a development phase initiated this year by test riders Alessandro Lupino and Tony Cairoli.
