Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) leads the MotoGP World Championship with two rounds to go, with Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) as his rival in the fight for the title. And the Italian has some Ducati riders in the peloton who are close to him due to the VR46 Riders Academy – like teammate Enea Bastianini and the duo from the Mooney VR46 Racing Team, Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi.
Asked about the possibility of #1 having more “allies” among the other riders in this title fight, Martín seemed indifferent, emphasizing that he is only focused on his own work:
– I don’t worry about friends, I only worry about myself. I feel that if I give 100 percent of myself, I can beat them all. So, I am focused on the weekend, focused on myself, and then whether someone will help him or not, I cannot control that.
