Joan Mir arrived at Repsol Honda in MotoGP in 2023, in a context of great competitive difficulties for the manufacturer. In 2024 there will be many changes – in the bike and not only – with the aim of returning to success as soon as possible.
Quoted in Motosan, the pilot from Palma de Mallorca commented: ‘It is certain that something is changing. But usually, when such big changes are made in a company, you need a couple of years to understand if those changes work or not. It’s like a bet’.
Marc Márquez left to seek better results with another manufacturer. And Mir emphasized that time is also pressing for him: ‘We need a change. Honestly, I have a little more time than Marc, but not much more. So, we’ll see soon’.
