Jorge Martín, there is no other way to say it, has been the main highlight in MotoGP in recent weeks, as he has accumulated more pole positions and race wins than any other rider in the class. This has positioned him as the main contender to Pecco Bagnaia, which has also earned him some kind words from the General Manager of Ducati Corse at Ducati.
Gigi Dall’Igna took to Linkedin to say that this title is coming Ducati’s way, while highlighting Martin’s recent performances and how he has been very impactful: ‘A title, that of MotoGP, that winks at Ducati, with an impeccable Jorge: his umpteenth victory from pole position with track records, Sprint Race and MotoGP, an absolute triumph. He has put his stamp on everything, confirming exceptional form in a remarkable ‘whole’ with the bike and the team’.
And he concluded: ‘A positive weekend for everyone, in many ways, with excellent results that suggest a final scenario that all fans of this sport would always want to see, in the name of sportsmanship and respect among champions’.
