This year, Fabio Di Giannantonio will be Marco Bezzecchi’s teammate at the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team in MotoGP. Both have had similar and coincident paths for several years, having a good relationship between them that the team’s new recruit hopes will be an asset.
The winner of last year’s Qatar GP commented: ‘We have known each other since the early days of our careers. We saw some beautiful images from 2015 in the CIV with Moto3, we were fighting for the title. And it was very good to see that from that moment until ten years later we are together in MotoGP as teammates‘.
According to Di Giannantonio, the relationship with Bezzecchi is good, with many moments already shared: ‘We have known each other for a long time, we have a great relationship, we have shared some good memories, some good fights, some good nights celebrating at times. So yes, we have a pleasant relationship and I think it will be a great incentive for both of us to improve‘.
The #49 also said: ‘He is a super precise rider and he is also super fast in many conditions – even in the rain. So, I think it will be good to bring what is good from me and what is good from him. So let’s see how it will be, but I believe it will be a good combination, a good mix‘.
