Marc Márquez completed his first day on a Ducati during the MotoGP test day in Valencia yesterday. Despite getting to know a new bike and the Gresini team, he showed speed and finished fourth in the time table.
In statements quoted on GPOne.com, Joan Mir – who was Márquez’s teammate at Repsol Honda this year – assured that #93’s performance was not a surprise and expects even more:
– I wasn’t surprised because he took a bike that was already fully developed and no one doubts Marc’s talent and speed. I don’t think he showed all his cards.
