Andrea Iannone no has problems in saying what he believes and, rightly so, at the beginning of this week, he did not hesitate to have some unpleasant words for Marc Márquez.
In statements to MCN, the rider who will return to racing after serving a long four-year ban, and who will now be in WSBK, spoke about Marc Márquez’s way of riding and how he believes that the current Gresini rider gets angry when opponents do to him what he does to them:
– He will definitely create a mess right in the first race! His way of racing is to create confusion, that’s the truth. He gets irritated when others do to him what he always does. If you treat him the same way he treats you, it annoys him. Ducati has experience in managing riders and if Márquez goes too far, it will be to his detriment.
Looking at the sporting side and his performance, Iannone believes that the Spaniard will be very fast, without forgetting some of the other Ducati riders: ‘It is true that he will be very fast, but it will not be easy for him. [Marco] Bezzecchi is quite loaded, [Pecco] Bagnaia too, but in a different way. [Jorge] Martín is a tough guy and [Franco] Morbidelli, who will join Pramac, will also be strong’.
