Pedro Acosta will move up to MotoGP in 2024 but after many attempts by KTM to find another team in the category with two available bikes, negotiations have not been going as desired and the “solution” may involve… an alternative proposal and Jack Miller’s “misfortune.”
The international press suggests the possibility of KTM “sacrificing” the rider who only arrived in 2023 to open a seat for the young prodigy.
While Brad Binder seems to be secured and is a preference for the manufacturer, who even recently announced the renewal of the South African’s contract until 2026, this could leave Miller in a precarious situation as he has a contract until 2024.
In theory, the future for another season is contractually secure, but the situation could take a turn due to the Australian’s less successful results in recent rounds.
