Maverick Viñales finished the MotoGP French GP Sprint race where he started, in third place. He just couldn’t beat Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) and Marc Márquez (Gresini/Ducati), getting involved in the fight against the Ducatis.
The Aprilia Spanish rider stated to the official broadcast: ‘It was a fantastic race, thank you very much! […]. It was a tough race, to be honest, I expected much more pace, but now we need to check in the garage’.
In any case, Viñales liked the result and performance, as he stated: ‘Third place is fantastic, fighting against the Ducati squad. So I was happy to be here and to learn a lot for tomorrow, trying to fight at the front‘.
