Miguel Oliveira is out of the MotoGP Qatar Grand Prix Sprint race. Bad luck hit the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP rider, who, after getting close to the top ten in the first corners, suffered a crash on the opening lap.
Strong start by #88, who climbed from 17th to 11th in just a few corners. However, he was involved in an accident with Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia) and Enea Bastianini (Ducati) at turn six.
It was the end of the line for Oliveira, who had everything to fight for points after a good start but was forced to retire early in the opening lap.
