Luca Marini still has a short time working with Repsol Honda, but the first impact was considerably positive – on the test day in Valencia last November.
The Italian reported to the Por Orejas podcast: ‘The connection we all had was incredible, even on the day before the test, talking to the team people, Alberto [Puig, team manager], with the Japanese, it was truly good, with a very good feeling. They are people with a lot of experience in MotoGP, they know perfectly well what the goal is and so do I‘.
According to Marini, there is an environment where everyone is rowing in the same direction: ‘From the very beginning, we have all been aligned in the same direction and that’s what I like the most, that we all have the same dream of fighting to return to the front as soon as possible‘.
