For the second time this season, Daniel Mogeda will start from pole position in the Supersport 300 World Championship. This Friday, the championship leader was the fastest in the Superpole in Misano.
At the beginning of the session, when the riders completed their first flying laps, there were eight different leaders in less than a minute, until Marc García (KOVE Racing Team) consolidated the position.
The Spaniard was at the top of the time sheet for about ten minutes before being beaten by Aldi Satya Mahendra (Team BrCorse/Yamaha). About ten minutes later, Mogeda set the pole position lap.
The Spanish rider from Team#109 Retro Traffic Kawasaki completed the lap in 1m49.278s. Mahendra couldn’t improve, finishing 0.138s behind. García will start from third, being 0.232s slower than Mogeda.
Iñigo Iglesias (Fusport-RT Motorsport by SKM-Kawasaki), who is second in the championship, achieved fourth position. The Superpole was marked by several crashes, but no rider was seriously injured.
