One of the most respected riders in recent MotoGP seasons is Dani Pedrosa, who despite not winning a MotoGP title has accumulated many fans for his unique ability to ride… and evolve. KTM took advantage of the opportunity to harness all this experience by securing the Spaniard as a test rider, with Giacomo Guidotti praising the little Samurai.
Giacomo Guidotti, who worked with the rider as a technician for two years, spoke with Moto.it on the #atuttogas podcast, praising the #26 and not hesitating to compliment the KTM test rider: ‘Dani is very professional. His precision in riding is also reflected in how he communicates with the technicians during preparation. It was an important experience for me, a great learning opportunity’.
For Giacomo Guidotti, having a rider like Pedrosa is something that all manufacturers desire: ‘We need a Pedrosa in every manufacturer and it would have been useful to have him with us’.
Remember that Pedrosa left MotoGP as a full-time rider at the end of 2018 and has only participated in three rounds since then: one in 2021 and two in 2023.
