These data, revealed by Dorna, demonstrate a return of the audience to the stands after the Covid-19 pandemic to watch Francesco Bagnaia’s (Ducati) journey to his second title. Looking at the numbers, 26,317 people were “missing” to surpass the maximum attendance recorded in 2018.
In the next season, Marc Márquez’s entry into Gresini, the titanic duel between Bagnaia and Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati), and the concessions being given to various constructors may further increase interest on and off the track.
