Brixton Motorcycles has unveiled an interesting motorcycle in the mid-size segment: the Cromwell 250. This new proposal combines classic design with modern technology, promising to be an interesting alternative for urban motorcyclists.
Equipped with a 249cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, the Cromwell 250 offers a maximum power of 12.6 kW at 7500 rpm and a torque of 16.5 Nm at 6500 rpm. These numbers translate into a top speed of 114 km/h, making it suitable for both urban traffic and small getaways outside the city.
Despite its retro appearance, the Cromwell 250 does not skimp on modern technology. It is equipped with daytime running lights and LED turn signals, front and rear disc ABS brakes, and an ECU-controlled ignition. The suspension consists of a telescopic fork at the front and a swingarm with dual shock absorbers at the rear.
With a dry weight of 145 kg and a seat height of 790 mm, the Cromwell 250 promises to be agile and easy to maneuver in city traffic. The 11.5-liter fuel tank, combined with an average consumption of 3.1 L/100 km, ensures good autonomy.
Available in two appealing colors – Titanium Black and Clockwork Orange – the Cromwell 250 positions itself as an attractive option for those looking for a motorcycle with classic style but modern conveniences. Brixton Motorcycles hopes that this model will appeal to both experienced motorcyclists looking for a second bike and new riders looking for a first bike with personality.
