Brad Binder is currently in fourth position in the MotoGP standings and admitted that for 2023, he had anticipated a title challenge. Things didn’t go as planned, although he admits to being in one of his best forms so far in his career.
Regarding his position in the championship and his desires to fight for the title, the KTM rider revealed that ambition… which he already had for this year: ‘Well, I had plans to try it this year, but you never know and that’s the thing. I feel like I’m riding well at the moment, I’m in one of the best forms I’ve ever been in and we’ve had some really good races this year and I think the worst one this year was in Sepang [last GP], and I was fast in all the sessions except the races, unfortunately’.
The focus now is on finishing the year well: ‘I’m excited to see how we end the season. I was second here last year and second in Valencia, they are tracks where I’m usually good and so if, somehow, we can finish the year strong and start fresh next year, I hope we can be more competitive’.
